""Many things in life will catch your eye, but only a few will capture your heart..."

WOW another year has passed. Time truly does fly!!
Happy 13th Birthday Buddy!

It is hard to believe that Andrew is already 13...I officially am the mother of a teenager! YIKES!

Andrew is such a joy and is a very important part of our family. He is a wonderful big brother and is always looking out for his younger brothers and sisters. He is constantly making us laugh, cry, laugh, cry! Seriously he is a teenager!!

Here are 13 things you may not know about Andrew...

1. Andrew weighed almost 9 pounds when he was born and 5 of them were his cheeks! Seriously you just couldn't resist kissing them!

2. Andrew is a very picky eater. The plainer the better. We are hoping his mission call is state side, we're not sure he would survive anywhere else!

3. Andrew had surgery on his eye (a mini eye lift) when he was 7 years old to correct a defect he was born with. He can now no longer keep his eye completely shut while he is sleeping...seriously a little creepy.

4. He quit watching cartoons about the age of 4 and began to watch ESPN sports. He still sneaks downstairs almost every morning to catch the scores and highlights of the games of the previous night.

5. Was an avid Pokemon fan when they were first released and could name every character.

6. Was one of 3 kids in his class who earned his doctorate degree in 4th grade.

7. Taught himself to ride a bike.

8. Is constantly bouncing a basketball in and outside the house. Seriously it is a miracle that he has survived 13 years...listening to a ball bouncing upstairs is enough to drive one crazy!

9. Is very good on the computer and types all of his own homework assignments.

10. Is terrified of werewolves, thanks to a story his Dad told him when he was 5. It is a miracle he actually sleeps in his own bed...I had nothing to do with this for the record!!

11. Hates camping but has been on 10 + camp outs this past year with his scout troop. The things a boy will do to earn his eagle.

12. Andrew has had a crush on the same girl for the past 4 years.

13. Andrew has a Hopi Indian name and was adopted into the Bear clan. In English his name translates to standing tall bear. He was given this name to represent that he was the oldest in the family and an example of standing tall and being a leader to his brother and sisters.

Happy Birthday Andrew WE LOVE YOU!

FAMILY
I love my family so much. To be apart of a family like mine is so divine, where love is shown hurt is shared our love for each other is never impaired. We talk we laugh we cry, but we are a family and we do it all together. For as a family we do it all as one you hurt one you hurt all and as a family unit we will all stand tall. For we are family a family full of strength a family full of love a family no one can touch. That is why I love my family so much.
