Presidents on Parade...

Last week Sammie's class put on a cute program about the Presidents of the United States. Each child had to memorize facts about each of the presidents and present them. They also sang some very cute songs.
Sammie's teacher decided to have the program with just her class which limited us to only 2 people. Sammie decided to invite her Grandma Heugly and was very excited she could come!
"Welcome to our program we hope we'll do just fine, so sit back relax and see us shine!"
Of course I packed the video camera as well as the camera but forgot the memory card! Just typical these days...I forget everything! Thank heavens for Grandma Heugly who took all the darling pictures for us! It was a fun and educational afternoon. I learned I need to go back to school! There were many of the Presidents I didn't even know who they were! LOL
Thank heavens I don't home school!
Did you know...
Fillmore's cook couldn't figure out how the new stove at the White House worked, so he never used it. President Fillmore went to the patent office to learn about the new stove and then went back to teach the cook.
Calvin Coolidge was so stingy that his cook finally quit. He couldn't convince Coolidge that it would take 6 hams to feed 60 people who were coming to the White House dinner!
We think this is a little wild...but no President was an only child!
Way to go Miss Sammie...You were AMAZING!

FAMILY
I love my family so much. To be apart of a family like mine is so divine, where love is shown hurt is shared our love for each other is never impaired. We talk we laugh we cry, but we are a family and we do it all together. For as a family we do it all as one you hurt one you hurt all and as a family unit we will all stand tall. For we are family a family full of strength a family full of love a family no one can touch. That is why I love my family so much.

A book is like a garden carried in the pocket.
