Valentine you make my heart glow...

This year Valentines Day just seemed to creep up on us...O.K. maybe just me!!
I am usually way more organized but this year kept thinking I had more time. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to throw together 70 valentines! This year everything came together thanks to my sister Katie. Thanks Katie for the cute idea that would work for everyone...and thanks for Dollar Tree for having everything we needed!
Our Valentines were glow sticks and wands with notes attached saying..."Valentine...you make my heart glow!" We also attached the same note to some yummy smelling candles for their teachers.

The best part was Alex mastered her name while signing all of her valentines. She had been struggling with her lower case "e" and "x" and now writes her name just great! However we keep finding her cute little name all over the house...on papers and receipts and doll houses and...you get the picture. However it isn't sweet little Alex...oh no...she would never do that! It is a naughty name fairy!! I am about to set a trap to catch that feisty little fellow!!!

The Valentines were a hit and a fun alternative to conversation hearts and suckers! Trust me the less sugar in this house the better!

Christian's Valentine box we had to whip together last minute (with a little help from Grandma Ellis and her cricut)! I received a phone call from school the morning of the 13th to alert me that he had forgotten they needed a Valentine box. This was about as creative as I could be last minute!! LOL

Now what will we come up with next year!?!

FAMILY
I love my family so much. To be apart of a family like mine is so divine, where love is shown hurt is shared our love for each other is never impaired. We talk we laugh we cry, but we are a family and we do it all together. For as a family we do it all as one you hurt one you hurt all and as a family unit we will all stand tall. For we are family a family full of strength a family full of love a family no one can touch. That is why I love my family so much.
