On The Fourth Date Of Christmas...

On the fourth date of Christmas the Heugly's spent together...

Secret Santa Shopping...
Built a gingerbread house...
3-D movie...
And went to see the lights at temple square.
Tonight for our 4Th date we went to do our "Secret Santa" shopping. Each year our ward does a sub for Santa. They hang what each child wants on a Christmas tree and we are to buy the gifts, wrap them and drop them off before Christmas day. Usually Jake and I do this without the kids knowing but decided it would be fun to include them this year.
It was a Sad and difficult situation to explain. First doesn't Santa bring everyone gifts?? Each year my children wake to a room full of gifts and that doesn't even include what Grandma and Grandpas have spoiled them with. Next why can't their Mommies and Daddies buy them gifts?? Too often our children (mine included) don't understand what it is to go without. I will also add to that list ME! We are very blessed at this time of year to first have a Dad who has a job, second a job that pays the bills and third to have each other.
Before going to bed tonight we will definitely be thanking our Heavenly Father for all of our many blessings!

I am always wanting my children to understand the true meaning of Christmas. I hope that as they get older and understand more that they will always be willing to give. Hey love the background!! and the pic of the kids and Santa are darling! LOVE IT!

FAMILY
I love my family so much. To be apart of a family like mine is so divine, where love is shown hurt is shared our love for each other is never impaired. We talk we laugh we cry, but we are a family and we do it all together. For as a family we do it all as one you hurt one you hurt all and as a family unit we will all stand tall. For we are family a family full of strength a family full of love a family no one can touch. That is why I love my family so much.

A book is like a garden carried in the pocket.
