Tonight while taking a bath Alex slipped and cut open her chin. Had she been my first born, or possibly my second or third I would have strapped her in her car seat and headed to the Dr's. Wow how times have changed.
Thank heavens for butterfly bandages! Alex was so excited to be able to wear a butterfly on her chin and loved that Dr. Dad and Nurse Mom took such great care of her. She thanked us for her special bandage, gave each of us a kiss and was back to her same spunky little self.
The new joke at our house is...Too cheap for the Dr? Nothing a little trip to Clinic Mom and Dad can't fix! Seriously though, had it really been that bad...we would have made the trip! But for now according to Alex "I'm all better!"

Poor thing, but good thing she has Dr. Mom in the house. I hope she heals quickly - if it were my kids, the bandaid would be off in 30 seconds. She's such a cutie!! Give her a get-better kiss for me.
Is my little "poppy" feeling better today?....Is there anything more precious than a little princess asleep? If we could only see her dreams..
